General Laborer – Outdoor Operations

Location: Grimes, Iowa

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; Every other Saturday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM

Pay: $18/hour

This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in construction or production with forklift operation and general labor experience, looking for long-term growth and stability.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts to move and stage inventory throughout the yardPull and prepare orders from incoming trucks for dispatchAssist with deliveries by accompanying full-time drivers to client sitesUse hand tools for basic tasks and yard maintenanceCollaborate with a team of 25+ yard workers to ensure efficient workflowRequired Skills & ExperienceMinimum 6 months of forklift and production experienceAt least 6 months of working in outdoor environmentsBasic proficiency with hand tools and framing experienceBack ground in construction or general labor preferredUnderstanding of manufacturing and material handling processesWork EnvironmentActive outdoor and indoor setting with a team of 100+ employeesExposure to varying weather conditions; appropriate attire requiredSafety gear provided (gloves, glasses, hard hat)Jeans and t-shirt acceptable for daily wearExtended hours may be required during peak seasonsBenefits Upon HireProfit-sharing programPaid time offSignificant employee discountsCompany match 401(k)Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
