**Job Title: General Laborer - Concrete and Masonry Construction** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Laborer in concrete and masonry construction projects. This role involves performing a variety of manual tasks to support construction efforts and ensure safe and efficient operations. **Responsibilities** + Perform manual labor tasks in concrete and masonry construction projects, preparing surfaces for concrete. + Shovel concrete into designated construction areas. + Engage in various tasks beyond concrete work, supporting overall labor needs. + Maintain a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and securing the area daily to eliminate hazards. + Handle and store materials appropriately. + Load and unload trucks, haul and hoist materials. + Follow proper safety and incident reporting procedures consistently. **Essential Skills** + Knowledge of equipment, materials, and supplies used in concrete and masonry construction. + Understanding of first aid and safety precautions. + Ability to work independently and adhere to daily work schedules. + Capability to lift heavy objects, stand for long durations, and perform physical labor under adverse conditions. + Proficiency in oral and written communication. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in general labor, concrete construction, commercial construction, and equipment operation. + Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure. + OSHA 10 certification. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive work environment with opportunities for overtime and career advancement.
