**Job Title: General Laborer** **Job Description** Join our team as a General Laborer working on commercial and industrial job sites. This role involves a flexible schedule from Monday to Thursday, with start times varying by foreman or crew. You will be part of a team that pre-makes ductwork in the shop and installs it on-site in commercial buildings. **Responsibilities** + Assist in measuring, cutting, and installing ductwork into ceiling spaces in new commercial buildings. + Help make and install HVAC registers and grills for ductwork systems. + Fit elbows for ductwork as much as possible before arriving on-site. + Perform basic tasks such as holding materials in place, final installations, clean-up, and installing parts and accessories. **Essential Skills** + Experience as a sheet metal worker and using hand tools. + Basic understanding of HVAC and ductwork systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6 months of construction or installation experience preferred. + Mechanically inclined entry-level candidates are welcome. + Valid driver's license preferred. **Why Work Here?** You will work in a brand new building and receive training to build a long-term career in the trade. Completing the 2-4 year Apprentice program can lead to competitive wages in the upper $20s to $30s per hour. Your hours will also count towards any Journeyman or Master program. **Work Environment** All work is based in Fargo, ND, within new commercial construction spaces. Work typically begins at the shop between 6 AM and 7 AM, with the option to meet at the job site. The position involves general labor work in an 8-10 hour day, ensuring a structured yet flexible work environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, North Dakota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
