Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our dynamic team. This role involves engaging in a variety of tasks including packing, shipping/receiving, operating forklifts, and mixing materials in a production environment. You will start by learning all areas before specializing in one task full-time. The successful candidate will be pivotal in maintaining the efficiency of our production line.
ResponsibilitiesPack materials of varying sizes efficiently as they come down the production line.Operate forklifts to move pallets to storage racks or load them into trucks safely.Ensure the proper mixing of materials by facilitating the suction of paint powder up the pipe to commence production.Move carts of materials and apply stickers to racks as necessary.Perform other various tasks to assist in maintaining the production flow.Essential SkillsExperience in a production environment.Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts.Ability to work 60-hour weeks.Collaborative team player.Capability to work with limited supervision.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in picking, packing, and inventory management.General labor experience.Loading and unloading expertise.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The facility primarily produces Extruded PVC Plastic products for the window industry and can be loud due to machinery. It is not climate controlled, meaning it is hot in summer and cold in winter, though machines provide heat in the winter and fans operate in the summer. The space can be cramped, and safety is prioritized. Forklifts operate within the facility to transport products, adding to the bustling environment. Expect a dusty and dirty workspace with potential grease and oil exposure from machinery. The dress code includes jeans, plain shirts, steel-toe boots/shoes, and safety glasses, with ear plugs provided due to noise levels.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.10/hr.
