**Job Title: Packaging Technician** **Job Description** Join our team as a Packaging Technician, where you will play a crucial role in custom packaging of large industrial equipment for both domestic and international shipment. We specialize in crafting secure, durable packaging solutions that ensure safe transport of high-value machinery and components. **Responsibilities** + Travel to customer sites to package industrial equipment for shipment. + Measure and assess equipment dimensions using a tape measure. + Construct wooden supports, braces, and crates using hand and power tools. + Wrap, secure, and protect equipment using industrial-grade materials. + Ensure all packaging meets safety and shipping standards. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors. **Essential Skills** + Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. + Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed. + Comfortable using a tape measure and basic hand tools. + Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 75 lbs). + Strong attention to detail and safety. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with carpentry or construction is a plus. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Forklift operation experience is beneficial. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a long-term career opportunity within a supportive and dynamic team.
