**Job Title: General Laborer**
**Job Description**
The role involves assisting with the movement of materials around the production floor, primarily using an overhead crane to handle larger metal pieces. The work is performed at very slow speeds and can be quite repetitive.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate overhead crane to move large metal pieces.
+ Assist in the transportation of materials across the production floor.
+ Ensure safe and efficient handling of construction and metal materials.
+ Utilize power tools and forklift as required.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in general labor within production environments.
+ Proficiency with overhead crane operations.
+ Prior experience in construction or metalwork.
+ Ability to operate power tools and forklifts.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with concrete handling is a plus.
+ Willingness to join the union.
+ Comfortable working in a metal shop environment.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, Missouri.
3rd shift
Pay starting at $20/hr and can earn up to $29/hr after first year with the company.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
