We are seeking dedicated general laborers to join our team for a short-term assignment with the potential for long-term employment. The primary duties involve cutting open bags, dumping materials into designated areas, and disposing of bags. Additional responsibilities may include attaching large bags to a chute to catch silica material, operating levers to control volume, lifting and stacking bags, sealing and scanning labels, driving forklifts and trucks within the facility, and general cleanup of workstations.
ResponsibilitiesCut open bags and dump materials into designated areas.Dispose of bags responsibly.Attach large bags to a chute to catch silica material, operating a lever to control the volume.Lift and stack 50 lb bags onto pallets every 30 seconds.Seal and scan labels onto filled bags of material.Drive forklifts after completing training.Drive trucks within the facility after completing training.Maintain cleanliness and order in workstations.Essential SkillsAbility to consistently lift 50 lb.Reliability and dependability.Experience with packaging, loading, and unloading.Capability to work in both hot and cold environments.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with hand tools.Forklift operation skills.Experience in a picking environment.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
