**Job Title: Racker**
**Job Description**
The racker position involves preparing metal parts for powder coating in Plant 1. This role requires meticulous attention to detail as you will be responsible for picking parts and hanging them on racks. Other duties include visually inspecting parts for quality, entering completed work orders into the computer system, and collaborating with management to ensure smooth production flow.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare and rack metal parts for powder coating.
+ Inspect parts visually to ensure quality standards are met.
+ Enter completed work orders into the computer system.
+ Collaborate with management to maintain smooth production flow.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in racking and packaging.
+ General production knowledge.
+ Material handling expertise.
+ Proficiency in inspection processes.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Comfortable with repetitive tasks.
+ High attention to safety protocols.
+ Ability to multitask effectively.
+ Physical ability to lift between 30-50 lbs repeatedly.
+ Capability to read and follow basic work instructions.

**Work Environment**
Join a metal plating company with 100 employees across three plants. The industrial environment focuses on plating and coating metal parts. Temperatures vary, being warm in the summer and potentially cold in some departments during the winter.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, Oregon.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.65/hr.
