Job Title: General Labor Production

Job Description

The position involves working as a pallet assembler and operator, assisting in the process of pallet making from start to finish. Responsibilities include using components to build pallets, repairing pallets, and creating pallet components. The job involves regular exposure to vibration and occasional work near moving mechanical parts with a relatively loud noise level. Ear protection is provided, and employees will use hammers, nail guns, and other basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

Use components to build pallets.Repair damaged pallets.Create pallet components.Operate tools such as hammers, nail guns, and other basic hand tools.

Essential Skills

Experience with hand and power tools.Ability to lift between 40-50 lbs.Capability to be on feet for 10 hours at a time.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to read a tape measure or ruler.Previous experience in a loud working environment.Forklift experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Candidates will work in two well-maintained buildings. The environment is mostly temperature-controlled but can be cold, so attire varies from Carhart jackets to cut-off t-shirts. The area is loud due to running machines and nail guns, and it may be dusty due to the wood processing involved in pallet creation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
