We are seeking a dedicated Production Laborer to join our team in building outdoor living products using concrete blocks and other materials in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role involves performing a variety of tasks, including visual quality inspections of blocks, and requires a commitment to physical activity such as consistently moving materials, bending, and twisting.
ResponsibilitiesConduct quality inspections of products as they move through the production line.Perform fabrication techniques such as cutting, gluing, grinding, and leveling materials.Utilize a tape measure to make precise cuts for accuracy.Palletize the completed blocks that come off the line - Repetitive lifting of 50lbsQualifications:General labor experience with heavy lifting capabilities.Must have verbal and written English communicationExperience in construction, masonry, demolition, or concrete work is a PlusMust be okay with a non-climate controlled environment / Loud EnvironmentMust be okay with repetitive tasks - Counting & inspecting concrete blocks as they come off the line.Ability to operate machines, saws, and heavy equipment.Basic math skills and proficiency in reading weight scales and tape measures.

Work Environment
The work environment is in a dusty, dirty production setting and can be quite loud, as it involves manufacturing stone pavers and landscaping blocks. Candidates must be comfortable working in such conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire for 3.5 Months, position based out of Shakopee, Minnesota.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
