Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a General Laborer to join their team. As a General Laborer, you will be part of the production team supporting the assembly of axles. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work well in a team, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** General Labor **Location:** Elkhart, IN **Pay Range:** $18.00/hour - $19.60/hour (after 90 days) **What's the Job?** + Assemble axles on the production line in a fast-paced environment. + Perform tasks such as feeding, stripping, twisting, crimping, and heat shrinking wires. + Use impact wrenches to fasten brakes and install hubs. + Operate a forklift and material handling equipment to move axles. + Verify shop orders and ensure proper paint certification. **What's Needed?** + Previous manufacturing or assembly line experience is required. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly. + Experience with hand tools (e.g., grease gun, impact gun, torque setter) is a plus. + Physical stamina for frequent bending, squatting, standing, reaching, and grasping. **What's in it for me?** + This is a temp-to-hire position.
