Job Title: General Labor

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Laborers. In this role, you will be responsible for grinding metal parts that come off the plasma table and polishing them. You will also operate a forklift throughout the building, contributing to our production process.

ResponsibilitiesGrind and polish metal parts from the plasma table.Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the building.Assist in production tasks as needed.Utilize power and hand tools effectively.Lift and move materials weighing 50+ pounds regularly.Essential Skills1+ year of manufacturing experience.Proficiency in operating a forklift.Experience with welding and grinding.Ability to safely use power and hand tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in fabrication and general labor is advantageous.Capability to work in a production environment.Work Environment

Our company is a smaller, yet growing business with a total of 20 employees spread across different shop buildings. The environment can be relatively dirty at times, and all employees are required to wear jeans and steel toe boots. Work hours are from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, with occasional extensions to 5pm as needed. Fridays may also be mandatory.

Pay

$18.00-$19.00/hr

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goodhue, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
