Job Description
This role involves a diverse set of tasks leading to the completion of the final product. Candidates must be flexible, trainable, and adaptable, as each day presents new challenges and opportunities. The position demands a hands-on approach, with responsibilities ranging from building steel wire rebar cages to mixing concrete and reading blueprints.
ResponsibilitiesConstruct steel wire rebar cages for concrete frames.Mix concrete in preparation stations.Pour concrete into wet or dry cast equipment.Read blueprints to plan concrete box punching.Perform general cleaning duties.Participate in daily production meetings starting at 6am.Dismantle frames used for the previous night's cement pours.Cut and stage finished rebar into frames for daily pours.Assist in preparing and executing concrete pours.Clean up the facility after pours are completed.Essential SkillsAbility to lift 50+ pounds.Overhead crane operation is highly preferred.Stand on feet for up to 10 hours a day.Problem-solving skills.Follow strict safety procedures.Adaptability to indoor/outdoor work environments.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in construction, roofing, or landscaping.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Understanding of manufacturing processes.Knowledge of concrete form and construction.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The facility operates from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime as needed. It is a large, non-climate-controlled space with minimal machinery, except for a large, loud machine in the dry cast area. The environment is akin to a construction site, characterized by dusty and dirty conditions, with overhead cranes in each building for lifting concrete boxes. Safety is a priority, with PPE provided including metatarsal boots, hard hats, and hearing and eye protection. The dress code requires jeans and a t-shirt or long sleeve shirt, with no loose clothing allowed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
