**2nd Shift General Labor**
**Job Description**
Join our team in a packaging role where you will contribute to the efficient operation of our facility. Basic machine operation knowledge is advantageous for success in this position. You will work collaboratively within a team of 3 to 4 members, supporting additional packers when necessary. Responsibilities include loading and unloading machinery, quality checking steel throughout the process, using measurement tools, handling shipping and receiving of materials, and ensuring safe practices.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate packaging machinery and assist with machine loading and unloading.
+ Conduct quality checks on steel during and after processing.
+ Utilize measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
+ Manage shipping and receiving processes within the facility.
+ Move materials throughout the facility safely.
+ Work effectively within a team of 3 to 4 members, providing support to additional packers.
**Essential Skills**
+ Machine operation knowledge, particularly with presses, steel, and large machinery.
+ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
+ Proficiency in reading a tape measure to 1/16".
+ Experience working in teams of 3-4 people.
+ Use of hand and power tools.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with overhead cranes.
+ Slitter operator experience.
+ Forklift operation.
+ Previous experience working with steel.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
