Job Title: General LaborResponsibilitiesAssist with loading and unloading machinery.Conduct quality checks on steel during and after processing.Use measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Participate in shipping and receiving materials within the facility.Move materials around the facility safely.Work in a team of 3 to 4 members and provide support to additional packers.Maintain safe working practices.Essential SkillsManufacturing experience in similar environments (e.g., press operation, steel, large machinery, injection mold, slitting).Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.Proficiency in reading a tape measure to 1/16 inch.Experience with hand and power tool usage.Experience with overhead cranes.Steel industry experience.Why Work Here?

This role is part of a three-shift operation with voluntary overtime, except when mandated to cover vacations. Employees work in a clean and well-lit facility with newer machinery. The company is largely US-based and not affected by tariffs, offering merit-based raises.

Work Environment

The work environment is a 40-50 person steel operation that is clean and well-lit, with newer machinery. The facility operates on a three-shift schedule with shift times from 6 AM to 2 PM, 2 PM to 10 PM, and 10 PM to 6 AM. Employees work 40 hours a week with voluntary overtime opportunities. Personal protective equipment is required, including hard hats, safety glasses, arm sleeves, hearing protection in certain areas, high visibility vests, and steel-toe shoes. The company provides uniforms to employees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
