Shipping and Receiving Handler - $18/hr - 1st Shift - Direct Placement

Shift: 6:00am - 4:00pm

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing the shipment and receipt of items, ensuring accurate data recording, and maintaining an efficient inventory system.

Responsibilities:

Receive and send items for shipment, ensuring accurate record-keeping.Accurately record data including weight and dimensions of shipments.Correctly place labels on outgoing shipments to ensure proper identification.Prepare necessary documentation such as bill of lading, work orders, and shipping orders.Utilize scanners to maintain accurate inventory records.Safely load and unload trucks, adhering to safety protocols.Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate.

Essential Skills

At least one year of previous shipping and receiving experience.Ability to lift 50+ lbs throughout the shift.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Capability to perform basic shop math calculations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with inventory management.Forklift operation skills.

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $37440.00/yr.
