Job Title: General Laborer

Aerotek is hiring immediately for a laborer! We are seeking a dedicated General Helper to join our team. This role offers two shifts: the 1st shift runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and the 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Thursday. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits!

ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical assembly tasks.Lift and handle sheet metal materials.Assist with shipping and warehouse duties.Utilize hand tools for various tasks.Engage in general labor and production activities.Be flexible and willing to be cross-trained in multiple areas.Essential SkillsDemonstrated job stability with a consistent work history.Hands-on mechanical aptitude.Experience with hand tools.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with sheet metal and heavy lifting.Ability to adapt to various tasks including assembly and loading.Must wear appropriate attire including sweatpants or sneakers; shorts and open-toed shoes are not permitted.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a machine shop environment that is organized and clean. Be prepared for warm conditions in the summer, as there is no air conditioning. This is a hands-on role where you will get your hands dirty.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sharon, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
