This Business Manager role sits within the Finance & Business Management (F&BM) department of the Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB). Business Management optimizes business performance by helping to steer key initiatives, acting as trusted advisors and counterweights to Business and Group Heads. The role is dynamic and varies day-to-day based on business priorities.

As a trusted advisor, you'll help drive key business initiatives, optimize performance, and work closely with functional partners across the firm.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute business strategies to grow market share and revenueSupport execution of business initiatives, working closely with local, regional, and global teamsProvide high-level responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysisImplement new business strategies, strategic initiatives, or platforms, aligning with product partners, departments, and support groups (Finance, Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance)Drive financial discipline by ensuring robust oversight of financial performance, understanding key business drivers and KPIs, and providing actionable insights to senior management for strategic decision-makingOrganize complex information strategically, demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPointPrepare materials for management presentations, town halls, and strategy sessionsCommunicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and facilitate next steps, including project management and delivery of key work streamsCollaborate with Business Management teams for other Lines of Business (Markets, Payments, Investment Banking) and Country BMs to drive cross business partnership Identify key business risks and partner with relevant teams to remediate risk and controls issuesLead and mentor the team to achieve business objectives and foster talent developmentBuild connectivity and consistent communication channels for Corporate Banking with key regional and in-country stakeholders across Compliance, Controls, Technology, Credit, Legal, Human Resources, Audit, etc.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related area with prior experience in Business Management or COO role preferredProven experience delivering timely, high-quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders; attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellenceDemonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups and leading the agendaAbility to multi-task and dynamically prioritize or adapt with rapidly changing and sometimes conflicting demandsExcellent communication, organization, and project management skillsAbility to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in design decisionsDemonstrates sound judgment, professional maturity, and a high level of integritySelf-motivated, tenacious, and able to work with a high degree of independenceIntermediate to advanced level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel & PowerPoint)
