Who we are looking for
An experienced individual for our Markets Operations – Foreign Exchange Confirmations & Settlements team responsible for trade confirmation and settlement in line with market deadlines and internal SLAs. The individual should possess extensive knowledge and experience on securities, settlements, claims, rates, products, and related financial attributes. Will require to work closely with Business teams, Functional teams, Business Risk, Compliance and Technology teams on day-to-day basis to ensure seamless BAU.

What you will be responsible for
As Senior Associate you will
Ensuring timely settlement of cash flows and Investigation and resolution of fails
Validate and confirm FX trades (spot, forward, swap, NDFs, options) with counterparties in a timely manner.
Manage the end-to-end FX confirmation and Settlement process in line with market deadlines and internal SLAs.
Send and match trade confirmations using platforms such as SWIFT, email, or third-party systems (Misys,FXall, GTSS, BBG and CLS, LCH).
Perform FX Netting Via email/Call or vendor platforms/ third-party systems (Misys,FXall, GTSS).
Monitor unmatched or disputed trades and resolve discrepancies.
Liaise with front office, compliance, finance, claims, and IT teams to support the full trade lifecycle.
Communicate effectively with counterparties and custodians to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Maintain up-to-date records of confirmations and settlements.
Ensure settlement of FX trades on value date by liaising with counterparties, custodians, and internal teams.
Monitor nostro accounts to ensure funding and settlement accuracy.
Support audits and ensure adherence to operational risk and compliance policies.
Partner in process improvement, project management or technology development and testing across multiple teams and/or divisions
Support applicable Change the Bank and Run the Bank Projects impacting the team, from inception, providing SME support, testing and monitoring into Production

What You'll Bring to the Role
Front-to-back knowledge of the FX Confirmation and settlement processes, systems, markets and instruments
Hands on experience in managing Interbank, Corporate, CLS, CLS_NET settlements
Working knowledge in Settlement/Payment department & understand payment life cycle
Familiarity with systems such as ION, GTSS, Bloomberg, FXALL and Misys SWIFT
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Graduate and above preferably in Finance
B.COM, BBM/BBA. MBA (Finance), M.COM or any degree related to Finance or Commerce
Good knowledge in Back-office confirmations and settlement
Knowledge of Global Markets, custody, cash management and payment systems
Good Communication Skills both written and oral
5 to 7+ years of experience in Financial Services industry
Additional requirements:
Certification on NCFM / CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment)
Knowledge on Macros, SQL & MS Access Database queries
Shift Timings: 7pm to 4am
Persona: 4 days' work from office
Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad / Mumbai
