Job Overview This position is Hybrid and will require 2-3 days in office at the Citi Tampa location.

The Sec & Derivative Intmd Assoc Analyst is an entry level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations-Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

Responsibilities:

Individual mapped to this job description is responsible for derivatives transaction processing executionContribute to the creation of customized reporting used to present information to managementSupport implementation of securities processing improvementsAssist with identifying policy gaps and formulating policies that streamline related work processesReview and analyze derivative trade activities, procedures to reconcile cash/holdings and securities pricing.Develop and use knowledge of securities, processing practices and standardsProvide informal guidance or on the job training to lower level/new securities processing team members when requiredDevelops client specific service solutions and maintains quality control.Performs multiple transactions of moderate complexity to achieve operating efficiency and a high level of productivity.Minimizes risk to the bank through the appropriate application of procedural requirements and adherence to audit and control policiesContinuously looks for and designs business required documents to reduce the number of manual touch points to process paymentsWorks closely with peers and product to develop solutions that will enable team to meet the mission statements of the department and create dynamic MISParticipates in system testingMaintains awareness of product changes and system enhancementsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

2-5 years relevant experienceOperational knowledge within Finance industryExperience in other financial products outside of asset service will be advantageousProven experience working within a team environment a mustExcel, Word, Outlook, AccessAnalytical and numerate, ability to research and resolve complex issuesAbility to work in a structured, high volume, time sensitive, high risk and demanding environment.Good written and verbal communication skillsGood lateral thinking & common sense

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$78,320.00 - $109,280.00
