Our Furniture Technician Apprentice program offers a structured, paid pathway to develop in-demand technical skills while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced warehouse and shop environment.

As an apprentice, you’ll complete a 52-week training program designed to build expertise in furniture repair, refinishing, upholstery, safety, and equipment operation. You’ll learn by doing—progressing through hands-on training cycles and performance-based evaluations that prepare you for a career as a fully qualified Furniture Technician.

Compensation Growth:

- Starting pay: $17/hour
- Earn up to $20/hour by Week 52, based on successful completion of training milestones and performance-based practical exams

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in a structured 52-week apprenticeship program
- Learn to identify, troubleshoot, repair, refinish, touch up, and restore furniture
- Perform repairs including fillers, burn-ins, fabrication, color matching, staining, and structural repairs
- Safely unload and move merchandise within the warehouse
- Operate Lift equipment safely after certification
- Follow all company safety guidelines
- Support shop and warehouse operations as assigned
