You will be the linchpin between our diverse vendor network and our internal systems, ensuring absolute accuracy from the digital record to the warehouse floor. This role involves managing the daily operations of our vendor partners, maintaining pristine data in our inventory management systems, and ensuring our physical stock is always accounted for. If you excel at building strong vendor relationships and have a passion for data integrity, this is the perfect role for you. **What You'll Do:** Vendor Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for all furniture vendors and 3PL partners. You will manage daily communications, enforce service level agreements (SLAs), and collaborate to resolve any operational issues swiftly and effectively. Inventory & Data Integrity: Take complete ownership of inventory accuracy. This includes coordinating regular cycle counts, performing reconciliations between our inventory management application (Rheaply) and warehouse reports, and investigating and correcting any discrepancies. System & Warehouse Oversight: Ensure all inventory transactions (inbound receiving, outbound shipments, transfers, adjustments) are accurately reflected IN Rheaply. You'll work closely with warehouse teams to guarantee processes are followed accurately. Operational Excellence: Supervise and analyze vendor performance metrics related to receiving accuracy, processing times, and inventory handling. You'll identify areas for improvement and implement new processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors. Reporting & Analysis: Develop and maintain reports on key inventory metrics, including stock levels, inventory turnover, accuracy rates, and vendor performance. Use this data to provide insights and recommendations to leadership. Critical partner for Design team: Establishing go-forward inventory versus inventory that needs to be retired Furniture systems: Work with vendor to communicate changes in systems furniture reconfigurations **What You'll Need** + Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations, ideally within the furniture or home goods industry. + Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with inventory management software and Enterprise Resource Planning systems is a must. Sophisticated skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, sophisticated formulas) are essential for data analysis. + Vendor Management: Demonstrated experience in managing external partners and vendors, with strong communication and negotiation skills. + Analytical Approach: Strong attention to detail and the capability to identify issues by understanding their fundamental causes. You are comfortable diving deep into data to uncover trends and resolve issues. + Proactive & Organized: You are a self-starter who can prioritize multiple priorities without letting details slip. Excellent time management and organizational skills are crucial with an established understanding of work routines and standards and applying skills and knowledge in a range of processes, procedures, and systems are required. + Communication: Ability to explain detailed and complicated information within the team in a clear and concise manner. The minimum salary for this position is $85,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $89,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program.
