**Job Title: Installer** **Job Description** A furniture installer is responsible for assembling and installing furniture in residential or commercial spaces. This includes reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, ensuring proper placement, and providing a finished, functional product. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and knowledge of different furniture types are key aspects of the role. **Responsibilities** + Assemble and install furniture according to blueprints and specifications. + Utilize hand and power tools to ensure accurate installation. + Tear apart cubicles and move them between floors or different parts of the building. + Disassemble desks and relocate roll-away filing cabinets. + Set up chairs and tables for corporate events. + Ensure proper placement and functionality of all installed furniture. **Essential Skills** + Experience with installation and assembly. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Mechanically inclined with a general understanding of construction. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Attention to detail. + Flexibility and adaptability to varying schedules. + Experience working onsite in a corporate environment is a plus. + Good customer service mindset. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a great long-term opportunity to become a direct employee and work with a very large and stable company. These events are occasional but require commitment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
