**Job Title: Installer**
**Job Description**
This role involves both entry-level and experienced commercial furniture installers responsible for delivering and installing office furniture in corporate, commercial, educational, and healthcare environments.
**Responsibilities**
+ Off-load trucks in the field.
+ Load and unload products, inspect them, prepare job sites, install products, and clean up job sites.
+ Stage and assemble furniture using power tools according to manufacturer's specifications and customer's furniture plans, blueprints, or directions from the lead.
+ Perform minor repairs, touch-up work, and cleaning of installed products.
+ Remove trash and cardboard from job sites.
+ Keep warehouses, trucks, and job sites clean, organized, and safe.
+ Conduct weekly truck safety inspections.
+ Follow instructions from the lead installer on job sites.
+ Gain knowledge of different product lines.
+ Communicate effectively and efficiently with dispatch.
+ Observe all safety policies and procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to read furniture plans and blueprints.
+ Excellent customer service experience and positive attitude.
+ Team player with the ability to work well with others and interact with customers politely and professionally.
+ Initiative and willingness to learn.
+ Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with power tools and hand tools.
+ Labor experience, particularly in construction or general labor.
+ Driving a box truck is a large plus but not required.
+ Willingness to undertake some overnight travel if needed.

The role begins at the warehouse/office, followed by travel to job sites with the crew. Work environments include offices, hospitals, schools, and construction sites. Comfort with diverse job sites (construction, office, high-tech) is necessary.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, Oregon.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
