Job Summary

A manufacturing facility in Lenoir, NC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inspector for a temp-to-hire opportunity on 1st shift. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong eye for detail who are looking for a long-term career in quality inspection and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect finished and in-process products to ensure quality and accuracy

Verify products meet company and customer specifications

Identify defects, damage, or non-conforming materials

Place questionable products on hold and report issues to production or supervision

Accurately document inspection results and findings

Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

Previous inspection or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required

Strong attention to detail and quality focus

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Basic computer or documentation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods

Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed

Ability to perform repetitive tasks
