**Job Title: Furnace Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Furnace Operator to manage the loading of materials and oversee the furnace operating process. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring the heat treating process and ensuring adherence to procedures during furnace setup. The role includes loading fixtures, bins, and baskets for furnaces, with parts varying in size up to 35 lbs, and performing basic visual inspections to ensure quality outcomes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate and monitor furnace processes.
+ Load materials and manage furnace setup procedures.
+ Ensure proper loading of fixtures, bins, and baskets.
+ Perform basic visual inspections for quality assurance.
+ Follow work instructions accurately.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in machine operation and general production.
+ Ability to follow work instructions meticulously.
+ Attention to detail in all tasks.
+ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in manufacturing.
+ Forklift experience is advantageous.
+ 6+ months of heat treating experience.
**Work Environment**
The work schedule is from 8pm to 6am, Monday to Thursday, providing a 10-hour shift with a team of 11 people in manufacturing. Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses will be provided, and the dress code includes jeans and a plain shirt.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Ipswich, Massachusetts.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
