**Job Title:** Furnace Operator **Location:** Clayville, NY **Shifts Available:** Multiple (see below) **Job Summary:** We are hiring Furnace Operators to support vacuum furnace operations in a high-performance aerospace manufacturing environment. This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals with at least 6 months of manufacturing or plant experience. **Available Shifts** : + 4th Shift: Fri–Sun, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM ($20.90/hour, paid for 40 hours with 36 hours of work) + 5th Shift: Fri–Sun, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM ($20.90/hour, paid for 40 hours with 36 hours of work) + 6th Shift: Mon–Thurs, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM ($19/hour) + 8th Shift: Mon–Thurs, 10:00 PM–8:00 AM ($20.90/hour) **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist with setup and operation of vacuum atomization furnaces + Perform cleaning, inspections, and process monitoring + Prepare raw material charges and operate furnace control systems + Conduct minor repairs on furnaces and related equipment + Use electric hoists to remove/replace furnace lids and coils + Clean furnace interiors, crucibles, and seals **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent + Minimum 6 months of experience in manufacturing or plant operations + Comfortable working at heights up to 60 feet + Able to wear a respirator and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 25 lbs, standing, climbing stairs) **Why Apply:** + Work directly supports military aerospace technology + Competitive pay with shift differentials + Stable, hands-on role with growth potential + Opportunities for advancement and skill development **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
