**Job Title: Furnace Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Furnace Operator with experience in welding, fabrication, or industrial mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine setup and breakdown, as well as forklift operation. This role involves flame cutting bulk weldable material to size and assembling barwelds from scrap and electrodes using MIG welding. Positions are available on all shifts, with a rotating weekend schedule.
**Responsibilities**
+ Follow procedures and guidelines for using equipment to cut metal to size with propylene and oxygen and/or plasma torches.
+ Setup material on a water bed in a torch booth and plan the job to preserve as much material as possible.
+ Identify material to maintain traceability per procedure.
+ Follow procedures and specifications to cut material to the required size.
+ Assemble barwelds from raw materials following formulation instructions and identifying material to be welded.
+ Make minor repairs or adjustments to equipment as required.
+ Tag out equipment and issue MRWO’s for repairs by the Maintenance department or through a vendor.
+ Change out gas bottles or cradles as needed.
+ Communicate effectively and professionally for any safety, quality, or equipment-related issues.
+ Operate material handling equipment safely.
+ Complete all shop floor data paperwork/terminal input accurately and thoroughly for the assigned cell/operation.
+ Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.
+ Observe necessary safety precautions and train in firefighting techniques to contain titanium fires.
+ Observe work area and equipment at the start of the shift to ensure safety is maintained.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $33.10 - $33.10/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Morgantown,PA.
