Job Summary:
As an Operations Associate within the Depositary Services Operations team, you play a critical role in supporting fund oversight processes. You execute operational and oversight activities to ensure client assets are protected and compliance standards are met. You collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address data issues, monitor exceptions, and enhance controls and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Depositary Oversight processesConduct checks and escalate exceptions per established guidelinesOversee maintenance of accurate accounting and securities recordsInvestigate and resolve data non-receipt and completeness issuesImplement operational procedures for accuracy and timelinessPartner with Operations, Technology, Product, and Program Management teamsParticipate actively in change initiatives for system enhancementChampion continuous improvement by minimizing false exceptionsAddress data gaps and enhance service quality and efficiencyMonitor and escalate potential breaches to Depositary PartnersContribute to ongoing enhancement of controls and procedures

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fieldDemonstrate understanding of security types and accounting treatmentApply investment compliance, asset verification, and fund accounting principlesExhibit excellent attention to detail and organizational skillsUtilize strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesCommunicate effectively both in writing and verballyCollaborate within a team and interact with business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

Demonstrate knowledge of risk management and relevant regulationsApply experience working across multiple business areas or functionsExhibit expertise in financial reporting, fund administration, or custodyUtilize proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteDisplay experience with data vendor systems such as BloombergDrive successful handling of fund operations tasks and responsibilitiesContribute to strategic development and process improvement initiatives
