Candidate Profile
JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing 8+ years of substantive fund formation experience working with sponsors Strong background handling structuring, formation, and operation of investment funds Significant experience advising on the Securities Act, Exchange Act, Investment Company Act, and Investment Advisers Act Substantial experience representing institutional investors in private investment funds Demonstrated ability to advise on legal, regulatory, and compliance considerations across complex fund activities Prior experience at a national or international law firm of comparable rank Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Self-directed, collaborative, and committed to outstanding client service
Key Responsibilities
Lead fund formation matters for venture capital and growth equity sponsors Advise clients on fund structuring, regulatory strategy, operational matters, and compliance frameworks Represent institutional investors in private fund investments and ongoing program needs Serve as a trusted counselor on sensitive governance, regulatory, and transactional issues Collaborate closely with cross-office colleagues to support a globally-integrated fund services practice Mentor junior team members and help strengthen the group’s knowledge base and best practicesWhy Join Us?

Compensation & Benefits
