Fund Accounting Product Manager

Are you looking to take your Fund Accounting experience to a broader level? Through this role within the Fund Accounting product management team, you will contribute to driving our business objectives including the strategic development of our service offering, working on client, industry and regulatory changes, supporting new business opportunities and developing your skills as a subject matter expert.

Job Summary:

As a Fund Accounting Product Manager, you will be a key member of a specialised team working to maintain and enhance our Product offering through developing new products, partnering with Operations, Product Development, Client Service and other partners to deliver a class leading client experience, and working with Sales partners on new business opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

Act as a Fund Accounting subject matter expert supporting Senior Management, Operations, Sales, Client Services and Clients / ProspectsProvide management and guidance on client, industry and internal change programmes, with focus on maintaining efficiency and standardisation across the operating modelWork closely with business partners on client satisfaction initiatives and sales opportunities including operating model development , legal agreements  and fee modelsKeep abreast of regulatory change and how this could impact the businessIdentify areas of opportunity to develop and improve the service offeringParticipate in Industry events to stay informed of market, client and competitor activity

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

You will have Fund Accounting experience, understanding the end-to-end model either through working in a similar Product Management or Development role or in Operations, and you will have a sound understanding of the funds marketplace 

In-depth practical understanding of Fund Accounting core processes / concepts that cover various asset classes, trade lifecycle, fund expenses, P&L computations, balance sheet and basic financial reporting standardsAbility to devise creative solutions in response to client requests and strategic product goalsStrong analytical skills, able to translate complex issues and other input into actionsStrong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask in a structured manner Execution approach - the role requires strategic thinking to design and define our platform – combined with accountability and execution discipline to drive and implement development. Strong team player with an ability to pull together multiple partners in a productive virtual team environmentStrong independent contributor who is comfortable working in a self-directed mode on multiple assignmentsStrong written and presentation skills and the ability to prepare quality materials and present confidently in multiple settingsAgility to adapt to a changing environment and demonstrate delivery of business goalsAbility to synthesize large amounts of information into crisp recommendations; present and defend recommendations to a variety of audiences; manage multiple projects / queries simultaneously and drive them to completion effectively.Strong cross-functional/business collaboration skills are required as the candidate will work across multiple teams within the bank.
