Functional Exercise Support Staff (Staff Wage)

The Functional Exercise Support Staff is responsible for providing support in a functional exercise therapy office.  These duties may include, assisting staff, maintaining clean and safe environment, assisting with client transfers/guarding, inventory and stocking supplies, and equipment maintenance and upkeep.  May additionally have involvement and/or oversight of specialized equipment or programs in the office.

Duties:

Prepare clients to see fitness trainersMaintain appropriate inventory of supplies for the practiceClean and stock suppliesOccasional back up to the front deskCleaning and upkeep of equipment and suppliesEnsure clean and safe treatment environmentAssist fitness trainers with testing protocols and client care as appropriateGeneral equipment upkeep and maintenanceAssist fitness trainers with client transfers/guardingOther duties as assigned

Anticipated Compensation: $16.97 - $20.00 Hourly

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study (kinesiology, exercise physiology, athletic training, etc.)Experience:  Previous clinical office experience preferredLicensure:  None

Physical Demands

Busy and fast paced environment.  Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive).  Repetitive motion; computer keyboard.  Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly.  Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs.  May be exposed to noise, radiation, radioactive materials, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease.
