Job Description This role partners closely with developers, designers, and business stakeholders to extract, cleanse, transform, and archive legacy HR data. The analyst serves as a liaison between technical teams and the business to gather requirements, analyze legacy data structures, define mappings, and translate business needs into technical specifications. Responsibilities include validating data quality and integrity, supporting data migration and testing activities, creating functional documentation and data dictionaries, troubleshooting data issues, responding to post‑archival inquiries, and contributing to process improvements and automation opportunities within the archival workflow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on with data, and experienced in collaborating across technical and functional teams. This person will be compensated $50-$60/hr depending on experience. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. · 3+ years of experience as a data or functional analyst, preferably in HR or enterprise systems. · Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. · Familiarity with HR systems and data structures (e.g., PeopleSoft, SAP, Workday, or similar). · Ability to read and interpret database schemas, ERDs, and legacy data formats. · Strong SQL skills for querying and validating data across multiple sources. · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. · Familiarity with programming languages such as Java. · Experience documenting functional and technical specifications. · Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally and explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. · Comfortable working in agile, collaborative team environments. · Familiarity with security for objects/tables in SQL.
