About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AP/AR Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. This fully remote role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting operations, particularly in the insurance industry, who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
+ Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts
+ Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
+ Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables
+ Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes
+ Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth financial operations
Qualifications:
+ 3+ years of experience in AP/AR roles, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry
+ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
+ Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles
+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities remotely
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Contract Details:
+ Duration: 6 months
+ Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
+ Location: 100% Remote (U.S. based candidates only)
+ Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $30.28/hr.
