Job Title: Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AP/AR Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. This fully remote role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting operations, particularly in the insurance industry, who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable processesEnsure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receiptsReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesMonitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivablesAssist with month-end close activities and financial reportingMaintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposesCollaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth financial operations

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in AP/AR roles, preferably within the insurance or financial services industryProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principlesExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities remotelyStrong communication and interpersonal skills

Contract Details:

Duration: 6 monthsSchedule: Full-time, Monday–FridayLocation: 100% Remote (U.S. based candidates preferred)Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $30.28/hr.
