Full time Patient Care Technician

**SUMMARY**
DispatchHealth seeks a dynamic individual to join an innovative and rapidly growing team. He/she is responsible for facilitating the day-to-day operations of one to two office locations, containing approximately 8+ Cars. This includes supporting the day-to-day operations, including but not limited to, scheduling, courier support, tech install and removal, kit building/cleaning, fleet, lab, supply chain mgmt., depot services, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care both directly and indirectly. implementing policies and procedures as outlined by the central repository guide.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** (Other duties may be assigned)
+ Drive DispatchHealth branded vehicle to meet patients at their place of need and load/unload supplies for daily activities (averaging 6-8 visits per 10- or 12-hour shift as scheduled).
+ Hold primary daily operational accountability for assigned DispatchHealth markets and vehicles. This includes driving clarity, consistency, and performance through a collaborative and engaging leadership style, aligning with internal stakeholders to achieve clinical and operational goals. Under direction of Area/ Regional Leadership.
+ Provide on-call support to the regional operations team as needed.
+ Other duties as assigned.
LAB
+ Collaborate with the Central Services Lab team to ensure effective management and implementation of lab operations, competency training, temperature logs, recording of results, supplies, and maintenance of moderately complex certification standards within the market.
FLEET
+ Oversee and maintain market fleet by coordinating with central fleet, including scheduling maintenance, car washes, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
SUPPLY CHAIN
+ Manage the clinical office supplies inventory, including ordering, receiving, maintaining accurate counts, utilizing inventory software, auditing clinical kits for accuracy, managing lot numbers to prevent expiration, coordinating, and completing annual physical inventory count, and managing product additions, removals, and conversions while ensuring compliance with Pegasus tracking system.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ _If hired, you agree to take and pass a TB test and proof of your annual Seasonal Influenza Immunization (or a signed medical declination form from your PCP) as part of the pre-hire requirement._
+ High school diploma required
+ MA or EMT certificate required
+ Current BLS Certification Required
+ Valid driver’s licenses and clean driving record
+ Interpersonal skills: the ability to cultivate strong relationships
+ Initiative and a sense of competitive drive, a “go-getter”
+ Ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, comfort with ambiguity
+ Strong operational, problem solving, and analytical skills and ability to operate independently
+ Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft tools
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Degree from an accredited college or university
+ Previous trainer or instructor experience

+ Demonstrated teaching and educational facilitation skills
+ Ability to adhere to established standards for educational quality
+ Familiarity with basic computer applications and functions

+ Minimum two (2) years patient facing experience
+ Strong customer service, communication, and technological skills
+ Ability to interact with patients and families and develop rapport and trust, ability to communicate and provide verbal professional clinical presentations/summaries
+ Function independently with supervision and direction from those this role reports to
+ Work as part of a team to responsibly deliver care with flexibility and open-mindedness
+ Adhere to all medical protocols, guidelines, and legal regulations
+ Responsible for equipment use, care and allocation
+ Restock and clean equipment at end of shift appropriately
+ Continuous learner with strong critical thinking skills
+ Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
+ Ability to drive and sit in a car for extended periods of time
+ Ability to drive during the day and at night
+ Ability to climb three flights of stairs while carrying equipment
+ Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds
+ Visual ability to perform point-of-care testing, such as EKGs, blood draws, taking vital signs
+ Ability to provide patient care in non-traditional or smaller spaces with limited room for movement
+ Ability to hear with or without accommodation
+ Ability to travel to other markets approximately 10% based on business needs
**PHYSICAL**
While performing the duties of this job, team members are regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and to talk and hear. Team members may occasionally be required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Team members must occasionally lift, push and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
This is a field-based role requiring attendance in the market location before and after each shift to prepare for field visits and gather and restock supplies. Depending on the market territory, it may require travel to practice locations in other states.
