We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer with a preference for candidates who have some electronics experience. The role involves programming in C#, troubleshooting, and debugging, particularly related to controls that have yet to be installed. You will work on PCB-sub assembly level and need to be local to perform testing onsite with the hardware. The primary focus is to assist in transitioning from a legacy test platform to a modern C# .NET platform. The team develops end-of-line test systems for electronics used in generators, interacting with electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Signal Generators, and Oscilloscopes. The position requires collaboration with the internal IT department to follow established procedures.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in transitioning from a legacy VB .NET system to a modern C# .NET platform.Develop and maintain end-of-line test systems for electronic generators.Design and implement front-end applications/websites with a focus on UI design using WPF.Work closely with the lead engineer to ensure successful front-end design.Set up systems for internal and third-party users at manufacturing sites.Collaborate with the internal IT department to ensure compliance with procedures.Test and fix bugs related to the controls and hardware interactions.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.4+ years of experience in front-end development and user interface design.4+ years of experience with WPF, XAML, and AWS or related technologies.Proficiency in C# and experience with embedded software development.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with C++ and software development for hardware interactions.Experience in testing applications that interact with hardware.Work EnvironmentThis is a hybrid role with 50% in-office and 50% remote work. The work environment involves collaboration with teams both onsite and remotely to perform testing and system development. The candidate will need to be onsite for hardware-related tasks and testing.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
