We are currently seeking a Full Stack Java Developer (Onsite Hybrid) to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).

 

Job Responsibilities Include: 

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services supporting payment processing and transaction workflowsBuild and enhance RESTful APIs used in card payments, billing, and financial integrationsDevelop responsive front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or similar)Ensure applications remain compliant with PCI-DSS requirements, including secure data handling and encryption standardsApply secure coding practices to protect sensitive payment and cardholder dataParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning within an agile environmentCollaborate closely with product owners, architects, and QA to deliver high-quality, scalable solutionsTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance in high-throughput systemsWork on-site in the Atlanta office 3 days per week to support collaboration, design sessions, and agile ceremonies

Basic Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development8+ years of strong foundation in Core Java, including:OOP principles (inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, encapsulation)Collections, multithreading, concurrency, and exception handlingJVM fundamentals and memory management5+ years of hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot5+ years of proven experience building and supporting RESTful APIs

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Skills:

Solid understanding of SQL and relational databasesPrior experience in the payments or financial services industry, supporting transaction-based systemsDemonstrated experience working in or supporting PCI-DSS compliant environmentsFront-end development experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and at least one modern frameworkExperience with Git or similar version control systemsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility and willingness to work on-site in Atlanta 3 days per week (mandatory)Experience with microservices architectureExposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesCloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience with JUnit, Mockito, or other unit testing frameworksPrior work on high-volume payment platforms, gateways, or card processing systems
