We are looking for a Software Engineer – Inventory Planning and Control Management (IPCM) to join our dynamic team at Foot Locker Inc. You will play a vital role in driving the continuous evolution and expansion of our programs and platforms. We seek a candidate passionate about solving business problems through maintainable solutions and continuous integration and delivery practices.
Responsibilities Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work that includes designing and developing reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems and applications. Act as a key technical contributor within an Agile delivery team focused on Merchandise Operations in-season Allocation and Replenishment systems. Ensure Foot Locker’s solutions are highly available, efficient, and performant.Write clean, efficient, reusable, scalable code using .NET and other languages and technologiesIntegrate software components with third party systems and servicesConduct thorough testing of systems and applications to ensure functionality, security, and performance.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers.Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively addressing any issues and proactively identifying opportunities to improve existing systems and processes.Maintain and update documentation related to system design, development, and maintenance processes.Provide guidance to associate level employees.Provide ongoing support, including L3 on call support for existing applications, including bug fixes and updatesCollaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment with a focus on test-driven development.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle complex business challenges, recommend system and process upgrades, improve productivity, and foster collaboration.Stay abreast of the latest technological trends and best practices Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.3+ years of hands-on experience as a .NET developer or software developer in enterprise environments.Experience with C# and familiarity with modern front-end or back-end technologies.Proficiency in database design and SQL.Experience with common development and collaboration tools.Strong, effective communication and collaboration skills.Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.Willingness to collaborate and share knowledge with team members.

BenefitsThe annual base salary range is $63,000 -$110,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
