Job Title: Full Stack Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer who is passionate about improving existing systems and finds satisfaction in refining and maintaining code. This role involves fixing bugs and conducting maintenance on an established codebase. As we invest in our technology stack, you'll contribute to enhancing our data structure, increasing automation, scalability, and software quality.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to the team, including conducting code reviews.Analyze situations, troubleshoot and problem solve independently or collaboratively, and ensure post-incident analysis and process improvements are completed.Contribute to projects by working on both front-end and back-end code as required.Work towards departmental goals such as improving the accuracy of technical project estimates, enhancing test coverage, and improving overall code quality.

Essential Skills

Full Stack development experience (80% Backend, 20% Frontend).Proficiency in Python/PHP, with Python being preferred.API experience.Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.Strong communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Redux, Webpack, Laravel, or Zend/Laminas.End-to-end testing experience.Knowledge of PHP Units or PyTest.Experience with cloud-based technologies like Lambdas or S3.Familiarity with PostgreSQL.

This is a Contract position based out of Vancouver, BC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
