We are looking for an Fulfillment Operations Manager, to ensure success of the freelance experts supply and manage processes across several geographies to meet program requirements and deepen freelancer engagements. This role will need to ensure both vendor-sourced and individual freelance experts’ utilization, work with x-fn stakeholders to unlock different skillset and task types for freelance experts, optimize onboarding & freelance experts lifecycle, partnering with Program Management teams and Product teams to build, operationalize, and improve efficiency of the marketplace.
This role will work closely with both local and regional teams across regions and support the strategy and execution of how Uber AI Solutions attracts, acquires, and develops skilled gig workers at scale through technology, automation, and process optimization.
What You’ll Do
- Build fulfillment strategy for programs to ensure speed, quality and cost standards are met.
- Shape and manage the programs: track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to management and project partners
- Manage freelance experts lifecycles to improve retention and develop new skills for higher utilization and engagement
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure velocity and quality requirements are delivered
- Build & improve processes, operational efficiencies, and identify automation opportunities
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in running program operations and building gig marketplace.
- Technical proficiency in analyzing complex datasets (e.g., supply chain metrics and market trends) using Excel, SQL, or similar tools. Demonstrated experience in applying data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency and supply performance
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience is sourcing and building a supply base specializing in language translation, localization, and AI model training
- Understanding of AI models and prompt testing
- Proven ability to lead and execute initiatives, with experience in coordinating cross-functional teams, setting timelines, and ensuring smooth implementations in dynamic environments.
- Ability to work efficiently and influence others without exerting direct authority
- Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
