Job Title: FSQ Technician
Job Description
The FSQ Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of cheese and liquid food products through meticulous auditing of production paperwork and conducting quality assurance and quality control tests.
Responsibilities
Obtain samples for testing, including cheese and liquid food product samples.Perform daily batching scale verifications to maintain accuracy.Prepare lab testing materials and supplies, ensuring adequate inventory is maintained.Update daily temperature logs and maintain, review, and distribute critical quality control reports as requested by QA Management.Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements while adhering to the company's Good Manufacturing Processes.Essential Skills
Proficiency in biology, chemistry, and microbiology.Experience with auditing and HACCP protocols.Familiarity with lab procedures and batch scale verification.Knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations.Strong skills in quality assurance and quality control.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in the Sciences.0 - 3 years of experience in a Quality position or 2 plus years of Quality experience.2 plus years of GMP and/or FDA experience.Work Environment
The position is based in a food manufacturing facility and micro & chemistry lab, fostering a close team dynamic with high accountability and teamwork.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Germantown, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.05/hr.
