This role operates across four days – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders to minimize equipment downtime and maximize plant availability, aligning with the objectives of the maintenance department and the site. Collaboration with production, engineering, and quality teams will be essential to achieve operational goals and maintain a high-performing, reliable manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Lead, coach, and manage teams of maintenance technicians and contractors. Ensure compliance with EHS, food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Coordinate subcontractors and external resources as required. Support management of maintenance budgets and optimize cost efficiency. Assist with capital and other engineering projects. Qualifications About you: Trade qualified Fitter or Electrician, or Engineering Degree Proven experience in maintenance management within FMCG or food manufacturing. Strong leadership and team management skills. Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety compliance. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities. Effective oral and written communication skills.
