Job Purpose

As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer on the Simplifile Development Team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting the front-end components of our SaaS platform. You’ll apply your expertise in modern web technologies, software development best practices, and problem-solving to deliver high-quality user experiences. While your primary focus will be front-end development, familiarity with backend technologies is beneficial for cross-functional collaboration.

 

Responsibilities

Build scalable, performant front-end solutions.Follow coding standards and ensure robust unit test coverage.Participate in design/code reviews.Work with product managers to define scope and timelines.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers.Contribute to process improvements.Solve complex technical challenges using best practices.Mentor junior developers and share knowledge.Identify opportunities to improve tools, workflows, and UX.

Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience.5+ years of front-end development experience.Proficient in Angular 10+ (preferred); familiar with React, NodeExperience with TypescriptExperience with Jest/JasmineUnderstanding of Java, MongoDB, MySQL, JSON.Experience integrating with Rest API endpoints.Experience with agile processes and modern dev tools.Strong attention to detail and communication skills.Comfortable in collaborative environments.
