What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Front Desk team as a Front Desk Supervisor. The ideal candidate is a proven team player who leads by example, responds professionally and courteously to guests and colleagues, and provides both personal and professional support to the team.

Your Role:

Help guests discover their “Wanderlust” experienceProvide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interestCheck guests in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is establishedHelp to resolve problems and “WOW” guests through recovery when things aren’t quite rightSupervise daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating proceduresConduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, which includes VIPS, repeat guests, all packages, and any special requestsOversee cash handling, payment processing, and reconciliation of shift reports.Maintain knowledge of hotel services, room types, availability, special promotions, and local area information.Ensure the front desk and lobby areas are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.Works closely with the Maintenance and Housekeeping teams to communicate and coordinate the dayTrain, direct the work of, resolve issues/problems and coach and counsel the front desk team members to ensure a quality operationMaintain the sundries shop area, keeping up with inventory and ordering as necessaryTraining all new Front Desk Agents to provide exceptional customer servicePromote and sell special hotel programsInteract with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary informationBe knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policiesCommunicate all pertinent information to leadership and other colleaguesFollow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refundsAssist other departments as needed

Qualifications:

Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidaysHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious hotel or resort experience preferredStrong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to make a positive impactFriendly, engaging, and guest-focused personalityStrong computer proficiency and quick adaptability to new systemsExperience with POS systems—preferably Lightspeed or similar platformsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to perform effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to stand for the duration of the shift
