What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused leader to join our Front Desk team as Front Desk Supervisor. The successful candidate for this role has a proven record of being a team player, is open to learning and leading by example, responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests and team, as well as being there to support the team both personally and professionally.

Your Role:

Lead the Front Office team in helping guests discover their “Wanderlust” experienceProvide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interestCheck guests in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is establishedYou will lead by example to ensure all guest interactions are handled in a professional manner.Help to resolve problems and “WOW” guests through recovery when things aren’t quite rightSupervise daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating proceduresConduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, which includes VIPS, repeat guests, all packages, and any special requestsWorks closely with the Maintenance and Housekeeping teams to communicate and coordinate the dayTrain, direct the work of, resolve issues/problems and coach and counsel the front desk team members to ensure a quality operationMaintain the Sundries shop, keeping up with inventory and ordering as necessaryTraining all new Front Desk Agents to provide exceptional customer servicePromote and sell special hotel programsWorks closely with the Maintenance and Housekeeping teams to communicate and coordinate the dayInteract with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary informationBe knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policiesMaintain house bankCommunicate all pertinent information to manager on dutyFollow set procedures on posting, charges, checks, and refundsAssist other departments as needed

What are we looking for?

Qualifications:

2+ years experience leading a Front Office team in a service focused hotel or resort environmentPrevious hotel experience in supervisory role requiredMust be available to work a flexible schedule to include nights, overnights, weekends and holidaysCollege degree preferred or equivalentA strong desire to make an impact on other peopleAn outgoing and engaging personalityStrong computer skills and experience with PMSExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced settingAbility to stand for the duration of the shift
