Our client is a leading Long Island-based law firm specializing in Elder Care and Estate Administrative Planning
They are seeking a client-focused Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers. This role is critical to maintaining a professional office environment while supporting attorneys and staff with administrative and clerical tasks.
Main Responsibilities
Greet clients and visitors warmly and professionally Manage incoming phone calls, screen calls, and route messages accurately Schedule and confirm client appointments Always maintain client confidentiality Manage reception area appearance and overall office presentation Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and couriers Maintain office calendars and conference room scheduling Order office supplies and coordinate basic office needs Assist with client intake and data entry Prepare, scan, copy, and file legal documents Maintain electronic and physical filing systems Support attorneys, paralegals, and staff with administrative tasks as neededQualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a plus) Prior receptionist or front desk experience (law firm or professional office preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Professional demeanor and appearance Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)Compensation & Benefits
Salary is between 55-60K + bonus and solid benefits
