Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Front Desk Coordinator to join our busy medical clinic in Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service, with recent experience in a front desk role, preferably within a medical office or healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
Make an excellent first impression for all incoming patients.Check patients in and out for appointments and manage the clinic-wide schedule.Monitor and facilitate patient compliance and readiness for their initial visit.Schedule a wide array of appointments for patients and anesthesia for the surgical center.Process patients’ payments and create receipt batches for the Finance department.Utilize technology efficiently, including Outlook, EMR system, and payment platforms.Essential Skills
Associate or Bachelor Degree.Strong customer service skills.2+ years of recent experience in a front desk role, preferably in a medical office or healthcare setting.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Tech-savvy and comfortable using computers.Friendly with good people skills.Experience with electronic health records.Ability to work in a growing and fast-paced environment.Flexible schedule with a 'no task is too small' attitude.Polished and professional demeanor.Work Environment
The position is based in a busy medical clinic in Manhattan, requiring flexibility with shifts starting between 6am and 8am for an 8.5-hour day, Monday to Friday. The role includes rotating weekends and holidays, with an expectation of working 1-2 weekends per month. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
