Our client is looking for a customer-focused Fitness Center Front Desk Associate to serve as the welcoming face for their on-site employee fitness center. This role plays a key part in fostering a safe, clean, and engaging wellness environment that supports employee health and satisfaction. As the first point of contact, you'll deliver exceptional service while ensuring daily operations, safety standards, and facility protocols are upheld.
Key Responsibilities
Greet employees with a professional and positive demeanor and assist with questions related to fitness center policies, services, and equipmentMonitor facility usage, enforce occupancy limits, and ensure proper equipment useConduct routine safety checks of equipment and facility spaces; report maintenance or safety concerns promptlyMaintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness center, including inventory of towels, supplies, and amenitiesProvide basic equipment orientations and conduct facility tours for first-time usersAddress employee questions, feedback, and concerns in a professional mannerMaintain accurate locker and usage recordsSupport wellness events and marketing initiatives as neededGenerate weekly usage reports and complete assigned administrative tasksQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent1-2 years of customer service experience in a face-to-face environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional appearanceBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office; ability to learn facility management softwareAbility to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneouslyFlexibility to work assigned shifts, including evening hours.Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds occasionallyPrevious experience in fitness, recreation, hospitality, or facility management preferredCPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain upon hireBasic knowledge of fitness equipment and general exercise principlesExperience supporting facility operations, maintenance coordination, or wellness programFamiliarity with membership management systems or similar databasesA1441065CHI_1766005055 To Apply for this Job Click Here
