Front Desk Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Front Desk Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to provide exceptional administrative support. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

Reception & Phone Management:

Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally.

Greet visitors and ensure a welcoming environment.

Office Supplies & Inventory:

Monitor and order office supplies as needed.

Maintain organized supply storage.

Mail & Correspondence:

Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.

Prepare outgoing mail and shipments.

Document Preparation:

Draft and format letters, memos, and other business correspondence.

Assist with basic data entry and filing tasks.

Staff Support:

Provide general administrative assistance to staff members.

Schedule meetings and maintain calendars as needed.

General Office Duties:

Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

Support special projects and other tasks as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Professional demeanor and customer service orientation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Washington, DC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
